Rentals FAQ
What constitutes a rental period?
Minimum: The minimum rental period is one
day - unless otherwise noted. Equipment out one hour
or 24 hours will be charged for one day, if not used
in excess of 8 hours.
Half-Day: A four hour period. Applicable only
to those tools available at a four-hour rate.
Day: Any 24 hour period preceded and followed
by a work day. Tools taken on Saturday must be
returned by 12pm. Tools not returned by 12pm cannot
be returned until Monday. If returned by 9am Monday,
the applicable weekend rate will be charged. Winter
hours may vary.
Week: 7 consecutive days.
Month: Any 28 consecutive days.
Holiday: On those holidays when Geppert
Rental is closed, equipment pickup after 4pm the day
before the holiday and returned by 8am the day after
the holiday, the charge will be one day. If the
holiday is on a Monday, pick-up equipment after 4pm
on Friday and returned by 8am on Tuesday, the charge
will be for two days.
Terms
Cash, Check, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, Amex), House Accounts
Proper ID required (Drivers License, State
Photo ID). Second form of ID required for checks.
$35.00 charge on returned checks.
Cancellations
24 Hour notice must be given on all rental
reservations. Failure to give notice will result in
a minimum charge of one day rental billed to your
store account or credit card.
Care of Equipment Rental
Customer agrees to care for the equipment
properly, to use it within its rated capacity, to
restrict its use to customer qualified personnel and
to prohibit anyone other than authorized personnel
to repair the equipment. Customer agrees to pay for
all damage to the equipment resulting from improper
use or abuse of the equipment.
Liquid Levels
Customer shall take care of normal needs of
equipment including checking oil level, coolant,
system level and battery water level at the
beginning of each 8 hour shift. Customer shall
supply and add clean fuel, oil, coolant and battery
water as required.
Tires
The customer will be responsible for all tire
damage or flats. Trouble due to normal wear will be
the responsibility of Geppert Rental.
Cleaning Charge
Customer agrees to pay a reasonable cleaning
charge for equipment returned in excessively dirty
condition.
Some things you should know about insurance
No insurance, license, sales or use taxes are
included in rates.
Customer agrees to pay for any damage to or loss
of equipment regardless of cause, except reasonable
wear and tear while equipment is in the possession
of the customer. Proof of insurance is required
before equipment is rented.
